St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold - SR #62

Here's a little St. Patick's Day Pot of Gold for you!  I used the petal cone die to make the little pot, and embellished it with lots of little green shamrocks and a sentiment from the So Happy for You, Sale-a-bration set (free with a $60 Stampin' Up! order, but hurry! only before March 31st).  Filled with chocolate gold coins, its sure to be a sweet treat for that special someone in your life!  I've entered this little box into Stampin Royalty's Go Green for St. Patrick's Day Challenge.

To make the little pot, cut 2 of the "heart" shaped pieces from the petal cone die.  Fold each  piece in half vertically along the score line.  Then score the piece 2" below the scored flap line.  Turn the piece over, and score it in the same place on the other side.  Lastly, cut the tip of shape off 1" below the score line you just made.  Use sticky tape to assemble the box by putting the two pieces together and folding in the bottom flaps.  I stuck each of the side flaps down with dimensionals.

I also made this sweet little 3"x3" card to go with the little pot of gold.  You can't see it in this picture, but I put some dazzling diamonds on some of the shamrocks. It will slip perfectly into a mini envelope, and I'm going to slip these little treats into my daughter's lunch on the 17th :)

Products used for this Project:
Stamp Sets: Got Treats, So Happy for You (SAB)
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Card Stock: Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Basic Black
Accessories: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Build a Cupcake Punch, Petal Card Punch, Petal Cone Die, Linen Thread, Mini Library Clips, Crimper, Chocolate Coins, Dazzling Diamonds.

Lastly, because I am the crafting queen, (not just a paper crafting queen), I just have to share with quick and easy little St. Patrick's Day craft with you:

Supplies needed:  green jelly beans, stretch cord, large needle for adult to poke a hole in the jelly beans with, and small needle for little hands to thread stretchy cord through the pre-poked jelly beans.

How sweet is that?  Hope your St. Patrick's Day is a crafty one!
