Lovely as a Tree Christmas Style

Another quick post today!

This card was created by Teresa. It's so gorgeous! I love Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Black together --very simple and elegant looking.. : )

I stamped a stack of them and sent them out to friends and family this holiday season! And of course i was in a rush to send them off so i didn't take a photo of my version of the card but it was basically the same except i switched up the snowflakes from Christmas Punch (retired) to Serene Snowflakes.

Thank you Teresa for inspiring me!! Miss you.. : )

Hope you like..... : )

Stitched Stocking Clean and Simple

In my last post i shared a quick simple SASable card. This one is very similar...I used the same layout but switched up the Chocolate Chip embossed card sotck with some Designer Series Paper (DSP) and changed the center image from the ornament to a stocking! I was playing around with some different colours to see what my options where with the Jolly Holiday DSP. This DSP was featured in last years SU catty and i must of loved it so much because i found an unopened package!! With a SAS fundraiser coming up i decided it was time to use it up. Although i was testing the waters with this design and the colours i'm sad to say this card didn't make the cut. I really love the colour combo but my judging panel voted for a different colour combo so i'll be back tomorrow to show you which card made the cut.. : )
