Click here for all the details!! : )Ethan's little buddy Reece has been sick for the last few weeks with Pneumonia. He's on the road to recovery and should be back to school after spring break. Ethan has been at a total loss without his little buddy around. They have been in the same class, on the same soccer and hockey team for the last 3 years so they see each other pretty much everyday! Ethan's been tremendously bored without Reece around. Nobody to goof off with... -- this card was a perfect card to reflect their personalities when they are together.. ---goofballs.. : )
With being very weak and tired Reece hasn't been able to do much so Ethan thought it would be a good idea to get him a Nintendo DS game....cuz who likes to do homework when they're sick..ewwwwwwwww school work...no fun..lol..
Not sure what Reece thought of the card but he was pretty excited about his new game and goodies Ethan delivered to him!! It sure brightened up his day!
A few deets about the card:I punched out a Pennant in Not Quite Navy (NQN) and Whisper White. I trimmed down the white pennant to fit nicely inside the NQN Pennant. I sponged around the crumb cake greeting banner with crumb cake ink and of course used the heart punch to fork the ends. (little obsessed with making greeting banners lately..{big smile})
With the cutter kit i distressed the edges of the NQN card stock and DSP (sorry this DSP is retired and i can't remember the name of it?)
I paper pierced the little monsters by stamping the images on DSP in black ink and cutting them out with paper snips. Stampin' Up's paper snips are so sharp it makes cutting paper really quick and simple!
I'm in love with the bakers twine and hope they keep the in-colours around after the mini ends....oh and of course add some new colours when the new catty comes out in May! : )
